About Oregon's Outback.com

OregonsOutback.com is a privately owned and operated site created by Erika Lasater and Paul Denny. Their goal is to create a "visually appealing, ultimate resource website about Lake County" - covering topics such as its natural wonders, history, towns, unique places, and all of the things there are to do."

It's opening date was March 3, 2000.

Erika Lasater grew up in Lake County and her favorite past time was fishing with her dad. It's her opinion that there is no place quite as beautiful and varied as Lake County and she loves to tell people about the place she grew up. She began doing web pages in 1997 as a hobby. Erika is currently working as a Multimedia Specialist for InterMountain ESD in Pendleton, Oregon doing website development and video production.

Paul Denny moved to Lake County in the early 1980's. He has spent the years since then traveling around the county fishing and hunting and can often catch fish when no one else can. Paul retired and moved to the Willamette Valley, but still fishes with his grandsons every chance he gets.
